The funeral sector is responsible for a significant proportion of the UK's carbon emissions. If the UK are to reach their 2050 net zero target, this sector must be supported to transition to net zero over the next few years. The AGFD is committed to supporting it's members to reduce and offset carbon emissions within their operations in this sector.

To encourage this path to net zero emissions we reward companies with oak leaves, to prove they are reducing and offsetting their carbon emissions to work towards becoming net zero.
